Sanremo UK had just become the official machine sponsor of the UK Barista Championships, the UK leg of an annual competition to find the best barista in the world. Our brief was to maximise PR opportunities surrounding the Championships. We followed the Sanremo crew as they travelled the UK to attend the regional heats of the Championships. By ensuring we were always first to pitch news stories and professional quality images (which we always ensured included the client and equipment) we generated excellent media coverage, both in the core trade media and local and regional consumer publications too. The value of the media coverage generated represented a 200 fold return on the client’s investment. Impressive or what!
